“I am a wretched sinner, striving for sainthood.”
This is the most fitting one liner to describe myself. I have found the words of John 15:5 to ring true in my life: “Apart from me, you can do nothing.”
I have worked in ministry for over 9 years. There is nothing I’d rather do than share the teachings of the Church and the love of Christ with others! There was always a call to serve God, so after undergraduate studies, I finished a Master’s in Theology from The Augustine Institute. There, I found my LOVE for Scripture (seriously… I nerd out when I teach using Scripture!) It was in this study that I really fell deeper in love with the Church and my friendship with God grew in intimacy.
I am married, and my husband and I have 3 children. We all love blasting music in the car or our living room and having (super obnoxious) dance parties! I like baking and teaching my kids to bake!
I also enjoy meeting new people and walking with them in their journey towards sainthood. As I said… I’m a sinner striving for sainthood, too, and the best person to guide someone out of the darkness is the person walking right there with you (so we all are walking and learning together)! Discipleship, small groups, intentional friendships, and teaching are deep passions in ministry.
I'm a co-founder of the apostolate Draw Near, a speaker, and worship leader. Visit www.drawnear.me for more information.
Jesus, I trust in you.
